Silken Passage

A luminous ode in metal, Silken Passage is the studio’s tribute to the storied Silk Road—an ancient artery that stretched from Xi’an and Samarkand to Istanbul and Venice, threading through Persia, Central Asia, and the Indian subcontinent. Spanning 28 feet, this sculptural mural unfolds with wild bloom of flora to sculpted vessels, from forests to grove, from East to West. Crafted through repoussé, casting, welding, and stone inlay, this layered landscape reflects the natural abundance and artistic legacy of a world long gone—yet ever present.
